Universal broke the record set by Fox last year with overseas box office revenue of US$3.78 billion four months ahead of schedule. So far, Universal Pictures has four of the top five films in the overseas box office.

Universal Pictures broke a new record this year, with its total overseas box office exceeding US$3.78 billion, making it the highest overseas box office revenue in history. The previous record of $3.73 billion was set by Fox Pictures last year, and Universal broke this figure a full four months earlier than when Fox set the record last year.

So far, Universal Pictures has four of the top five films in the overseas box office, including "Speed and Furious 7"(US$1.162 billion overseas),"Jurassic World"(US$983.5 million overseas),"Little Yellow Man"(US$670.2 million overseas) and "Fifty Shades of Gray"(US$404.1 million overseas).
