China original musicians explode at the 2018 MIDEM Music Fair in Cannes, France

"2018 MIDEM China Original Musicians Special Performance" was successfully held.

Four

groups of outstanding original bands selected through the "2018 China Voices Singing Original Musicians in Cannes" selection competition represented China on the highest international music stage, conquering audiences from more than 50 countries with their superb performances.

Audiences from different countries are waiting for the performance to

begin. After 2015, China original musicians have once again stepped onto the MIDEM stage like Elvis Presley and Uncle Bird. The voice of China once again resounded through the Cannes International Music Expo in France. Through this event, music agencies from nearly 20 countries including the United States, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, and Sweden conducted in-depth communication with the participating bands and issued invitations for an international tour. We look forward to China original musicians on more international stages, through singing to show China charm, blooming dazzling light.

It is reported that the "2018MIDEM China Original Musicians Special Performance" is the second time since 2015 that the Music Industry Promotion Working Committee of China Audiovisual and Digital Publishing Association has organized and held this event. Two years later, China original musicians once again appeared on the stage of the Cannes Music Expo in France. This event continues the model of government guidance, association organization, and commercial operation. The "2018 China Voice·Singing Cannes Original Musicians Selection Competition" selected the best original music.

The "2018 China Voice·Singing Cannes Original Musicians Selection Competition" is guided by China Audiovisual and Digital Publishing Association, sponsored by the Music Industry Promotion Committee of China Audiovisual and Digital Publishing Association, and co-sponsored by the National Music Industry Bases (Parks) Alliance. The event lasted nearly four months, with 6 registration channels in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenzhen, universities and online, and more than 1,000 original music works were collected.

The competition started from the "audition" to the emergence of the top 40 in the country, and then to the selection of the top 24 and top 12. The four major national music industry bases (parks) in Beijing, Guangdong, Chengdu, and Shanghai, dozens of music universities across the country, and dozens of leading companies in different fields in the music industry, including Cloud Music, Chengdu Media Group, Wenxuan Music, Midi Music School, Tianfu TV, Beijing Modern Music Academy, and Songyu Universal, have participated in the organization of this event.

In addition, many domestic experts and celebrities who are well-known in the music industry served as judges of this selection competition.
