Tiandihui Band's "Tribute to Wong Jiaju" global tour kicks off in Beijing

night, Singapore's veteran rock band "Tiandi Club" made its debut at the DDC Dusk Dawn Club in Beijing last night with a single "Death" paying tribute to the 25th anniversary of Wong Ka Kui's death, successfully concluding the first performance of the global tour in Beijing!

As

the first stop of the 2018 global tour, the atmosphere at the scene was enthusiastic. They not only brought the album "Rock and Roll No Reason" to fans, but also publicly performed the new single "Death" for the first time on the spot. A song written 25 years ago in memory of Mr. Wong Jia-kui takes us to remember the legendary idol of the past. As a band in the same period as Beyond, their interpretation carries traces of time, making people tearful and extremely touching.

That

night was still the birthday of the band's lead singer, Apual. The band members and fans celebrated his birthday live. The scene was warm and moved. During the live interactive session, small gifts were distributed to the fans in the audience. After the song was over, everyone followed the members on the stage. Interactive singing together, and the scene was moved for a long time. At their age, they still insisted on rock and roll. They were moved and admired.

After

the performance, fans asked for autographs from members of the Tiandihui Association. Tiandihui is an orchestra dominated by Chinese rock music. It is the most representative and influential Chinese rock band in Singapore's underground orchestra. Their songs show passion for rock music and high-level technical expression. At the same time, their musical style has also influenced the continuous exploration, continuous efforts and pursuit of technology by some local young orchestras, and has naturally become a model for Chinese rock fans in Singapore."

The

orchestra consists

of bassist Kyle, drummer Willie and guitarist YJ to form the Tiandihui Orchestra in 1992.

In 1996, Polygram met lead singer Paul and guitarist Tony in a band writing competition held in Singapore (they belonged to another group of bands, Chaoz). Soon after, Paul and Tony officially joined the Tiandihui Band.

In 2014, the band met keyboardist Ahao while producing the album "Rock No Reason", and later officially invited Ahao to join the Tiandihui Band in early 2015.

Main performance experiences

Tiandihui has participated in performances of large and small size, as well as music festivals held in different countries. The following are the main performance experiences;

1996: Participated in the orchestra creation competition jointly organized by PolyGram and Canto Club in Singapore and won the runner-up. The champion of the same competition was Chaoz Band.

1998: Founded and performed the first Chinese rock concert in Singapore, named "Illegal Party." There was also Huang Yida, who was the lead singer of the "Dark World" band at the time.

1999: Participated in a series of music programs and performances on Singapore Radio FM100.3 "Transparent Rock".

2000: Invited to perform at a music festival organized by the Singapore Song and Copyright Society (Compass).

2001: Performed in Johor, Malaysia's Ma Xin Rock 'Crazy Snow Night' concert at the Jotic Auditorium.

2006: Participated in the Singapore Super Band TV Trials.

2009: A series of performances featuring the dynamics of Singapore's independent music.

2010: Performed at the Spring Scream Music Festival held in Kenting, Taiwan.

2012: Invited to perform at the Chinese Arts Music Festival held by Esplande in Singapore and the 'Crazy Moon Rock' Music Festival held by Johor, Malaysia.

2013: Invited to perform at the 'Singing Festival' held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

2014: Invited to perform at the 'Alien A Fest' Music Festival held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

2015: Invited to perform at the 2nd Hong Kong Swing Sky Band Music Festival.

2016: Performed in Hong Kong at the press conference of the new album "Rock and Roll No Reason", and also filmed the MV video of the song "The Fable of Utopia"

2017: Invited to perform the first performance in the mainland of China at 191Space in Guangzhou.

2018: Released his latest single "Death" and toured Asia.
