The 2018 Olympic Park Music Season officially opens

On September 10, the "2018 Olympic Park Music Season-Beiqi Weilan·Beijing Performance Night" kicked off in the outer south square of the National Stadium. This music season is hosted by the Beijing Performing Arts Group, and Zhou Tao, chief performance officer of the Beijing Performing Arts Group and famous TV host, serves as the general director.

This music season includes four major themed performances: "Symphony Night","Night of China National Opera","Night of Chinese and Foreign Classical Concerto" and "Night of Colorful Beijing Performance-Love Beijing".

In the first "Symphony Night", famous conductor Mr. Li Xincao conducted the baton, bringing baritone singer Liao Changyong, soprano singer Yin Xiumei, tenor Liu Wenbiao, erhu player Seinfeld and many artists and performers together to perform heavyweight works such as "The Burning Years","Drinking Song", Tchaikovsky's "1812" Overture. Boldly innovate the composition and combination of works, let elegant art descend from the altar and resonate with the audience in a more down-to-earth way.

It is understood that tenor Liu Wenbiao won the Silver Medal in the Hong Kong International Vocal Open in 2016! Participated in the recording of the 2017 Gansu Satellite TV Mid-Autumn Gala. Participated in the 2017 China Opera Festival, performed with the Sichuan Symphony Orchestra, the original opera "Salt God" in Sichuan Province, a project supported by the Ministry of Culture! And perform nationwide! In 2018, he participated in the China National Vocal Music Performance as one of the top 100 national vocals! Won the Silver Award! Awarded the title of "Star of Glory"! The singing song was broadcast on the music channel "Today Music"!

"China National Opera Night" will lead the audience to relive the glorious history of New China Opera and sing songs that have been familiar to generations. Selected songs from the traditional opera "Xiao Erhei's Marriage", selected songs from the red classics "Honghu Red Guards", and "Sister Jiang", through the arrangement of modern opera musical techniques and superb performance, reproduce the artistic charm of national original classic operas.

The Olympic Park Music Season is the first large-scale performance project Zhou Tao took over after joining the Beijing Performing Arts Group. During this music season, Zhou Tao not only served as the chief director, but also served as the host.

Zhou Tao introduced that outdoor concerts are not simply "outdoor version of indoor concerts", but open up interactive channels with ordinary audiences from multiple dimensions to experience the artistic beauty of classical music. She believes that during outdoor performances, artists always interact with the audience and constantly adjust their programs. With the external environment, the audience can truly feel the artist's emotions, which is what makes outdoor concerts fascinating.

Compared with the previous two music seasons, the 2018 music season launched the "Night of Chinese and Foreign Classical Concerto" for the first time. Collect many Chinese and foreign instruments such as bamboo flute, trumpet, violin, horse-head qin, huqin, percussion, etc. to achieve the perfect integration of tone matching, rhythm coordination, rhythm control, etc., and then be performed by masters such as violin Lu Siqing, bamboo flute Chen Yue, horse-head qin Qi Baoligao, Huqin Jiang Kemei and other artists. Well-known songs such as "In the Field of Hope","Goose" and "Deep Night" will all appear.

The stage beauty of this music season is jointly designed by top artists at home and abroad. Ma Xin, the chief sound designer of the G20, is determined to create outdoor symphony music into an indoor "concert hall" effect. The stage is set against the background of the Bird's Nest Stadium and Linglong Tower, with blue as the main color, striving to create a beautiful and dreamy "Midsummer Night's Dream".
