Students of Unity, I am VKoo, and I want to chat with you today because it has been ten years.

The day before yesterday (last Saturday) was November 21, the 10th anniversary of the founding of Unity. That morning, I got together with 20 old classmates who had been with me for ten years. We set out from the Tianheng Building, our starting point ten years ago, visited the old place again and found our previous workstation. We had a unique taste in our hearts. The "elevator fright" and those struggling "hot pot weather" days there are vividly remembered, as if they had happened yesterday.

Ten years ago, we started from Tianheng, but the starting point was not only Tianheng, but more importantly, the dream of unity. "Cooperation comes first, one person takes one bite, do the right thing at the right time, and do the right thing with the people we like" is the belief that inspires us to move forward. It happened to be snowing on Saturday. I thought of the heavy snow in Shenyang and the photographers like Sesame. When I watched our live broadcast signal at the recent Double 11 ceremony, I also thought of our first fully interactive concert. This year is my 21st year in China. Over the years, I have participated in many startup companies and know that it is not easy to start a business. When integration started, it can be said to be naked: there were no products, no business, not even an office, just some people, ideas, and start-up capital. At that time, I told you that we would develop step by step, from 10 to 30 people, 30 to 100 people, 100 to 300 people, 300 to 1000 people, to more than 3000 people today. We have grown from a video website to a multi-screen cultural and entertainment ecosystem, and most of the companies that started our businesses at the same time and the neighbors we looked up to at that time have disappeared from view. Unity is lucky. I think the best places in the world to start a business are only China and Silicon Valley. The famous American entrepreneurial incubator Y-Combinator(YC) was launched in 2005 like Unity, but YC was founded in Silicon Valley. In the past ten years, YC has incubated six to seven hundred entrepreneurial projects, and currently only 3 or 4 companies can create more than one billion US dollars in value. So those entrepreneurial teams that are moving towards success are so lucky. In my opinion, the criterion for measuring success is not who laughs last, but who believes in the power of entrepreneurship, commercializes innovation and drives social progress. It is based on this belief that Oneness has always been willing and eager to achieve entrepreneurs and content creators and realize their dreams.

Persistently and fortunate, we have successfully predicted and realized "triple play in one" and "multi-screen integration" in 10 years, exploring a way to survive and develop the once-blank Internet video industry, and rewriting it again and again. pattern.
