Madonna confirms that co-artists infected with COVID-19 two months ago have symptoms

据外媒报道，流行巨星麦当娜（Madonna）正面证实了她感染新型冠状病毒一事，推测是两个月前巡演时感染上的。

On May 6, Madonna shared a commentary on social platforms praising her donation of US$1.1 million to the development of the COVID-19 vaccine, and explained in a caption the process of her infection with the COVID-19.

Madonna wrote: "I am very grateful that I can participate in the development of the Covid-19 vaccine! I am not sick now."

"When someone tests positive for antibodies, it means you have the virus, just like at the end of my Paris concert tour seven weeks ago, I and other artists on the scene were obviously infected. We just thought we had a very bad flu. Thank God, we are now healthy and in good health. I hope our hindsight is not too late! Knowledge is power!"

Madonna is one of many stars who have fought a high-profile battle against COVID-19. Others who have announced their infection include P! nk, Sara Bareilles, Sam Smith, Charlotte Lawrence and Andrew Watt.
