According to Hong Kong media reports, Wang Zhongjun, chairman of Huayi Brothers, recently sold his two-connected mansion in Fuhui Haoting, Mid-Levels for nearly 220 million Hong Kong dollars (approximately 200 million yuan). In response, some media asked Huayi Brothers for confirmation, and the other party said: "It is President Wang's personal property, and the company will not respond."
The report pointed out that although the unit was discounted by 23.6% compared with the 2018 HK$288 million, it still increased by HK$88 million or 66% compared with the 2010 purchase price of HK$132 million. As early as 2018, Huayi Brothers President Wang Zhonglei also sold his single-family property in the same building for HK$89 million (approximately RMB 81 million), an appreciation of 11% from the 2012 purchase price of HK$79.8 million. In August 2019, Wang Zhongjun, who had loved painting since childhood, sold the famous paintings he had collected for many years and said,"For the safety of the company, I can sell anything."
