On November 13, Disney Company announced its operating report for the fourth quarter of this fiscal year and the full year ended October 3, 2009.
According to the report, Disney company-wide sales in the fourth quarter increased from US$9.4 billion to US$9.8 billion, an increase of 4%; net profit increased from US$760 million to US$895 million, an increase of 18%. From the perspective of full-year operations, Disney's full-year sales fell by 4%, and its net profit fell by 20%, from US$4.4 billion to US$3.3 billion.
