The biggest difference between the Volunteer trilogy and the previous films on the theme of the War to resist US aggression and Aid Korea is that it shows the "War of Founding the Nation" in a panoramic and multi-dimensional way. The first story revolves around the first and second battles of the Chinese people's volunteers' entry into Korea. The 38th Army, Dai Ruyi (Wei Chen), Yang Shaocheng (Yin Fang), Sun Xing (Chen Feiyu), who are responsible for blocking the enemy in Songgufeng, will appear in this one.
