The adaptation of "Genji Asking for Flowers" was produced by Tang De and directed by Gao Yijun. The story is set during the ruling period of Emperor Xianzong of the Tang Dynasty in ancient China and mainly describes the winding emotional experiences of Prince Yuanhui.
