Liu Cixin's "Ball Lightning" is going to be filmed? Netizen: "three bodies" hasn't been broadcast yet.

Phoenix New Media Entertainment News (Reporter / Ss) recently, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television announced the filing and change of national TV dramas in June. The contemporary sci-fi TV series" Ball Lightning "adapted from Liu Cixin's novel of the same name has attracted special attention in a large number of urban films. According to filing information, the show will begin filming in September 2019, with a total of 42 episodes and a production cycle of six months.

the novel "spherical Lightning" is the work of the famous science fiction writer Liu Cixin. The original novel centers on spherical lightning and describes the arduous research process of a leading actor who has experienced spherical lightning. It shows us a unique, mysterious and strange world, which is a magical science fiction.

the background of the original work is set as human war, which is of great practical significance, while in the TV version, the scene is changed to the Star War. it tells the story of Major Lin Yun, who was hijacked by outer space forces and witnessed his mother's tragic accident, led a special team to overcome the difficulties, and completely destroyed the observer plan by using the nuclear fusion caused by spherical lightning.

after the release of the filing information, some netizens suggested that the degree of adaptation of the plot was too large to be regarded as a remake of the original, and that 42 episodes of the content that could be finished in eight episodes was suspected of procrastination. At the same time, some netizens said that the subject matter is too sensitive, even if the record is successful, it may not be able to broadcast in the end, and the "three-body" movie made a few years ago has not yet been broadcast.

in the TV series filing announcement in May, another science fiction novel by Liu Cixin, "three-body", was also announced to be adapted into a TV series. "three-body" was adapted into a movie of the same name in 2016, but there was no follow-up progress after the official release of three-edition posters. At that time, the author Liu Cixin said that "it was not a miscarriage, but the production cycle was slow." now "three-body" and "spherical Lightning" will be adapted into TV series. I don't know if there's a different ending.
