The new tour "LIKE A STAR" for the 20th anniversary of Rainie's debut will be sung at the Taipei Dome on November 6. On the same day, the 12th concert album of the same name will also be released. The new album is co-produced by Cheng Lin and the production team. Almost all of the collaborators are star musicians with the Golden Melody Award aura. It can be said to be the brightest star production lineup of the year!

The experimental new singing and dancing album "LIKE A STAR" also has many eggs. The song "It's Because of You" is a love letter that Cheng Lin wants to dedicate to her fans. After discussion, she wants to present it in a more romantic direction. So I found Fang Datong's music team Derrick and Fergus to arrange the music together, combining Chill's Hip-Hop Drunken Beat, retro R B and Neo Soul guitar, and there was a wonderful guitar Solo during the final play; Cheng Lin's tone between R B and Pop was also perfectly mastered and integrated, and she naturally and warmly sang her love and story for her fans! In "Pairing" with popular idol Chen Linong, Cheng Lin wanted to express: "Love does not distinguish age, appearance or distance." The so-called pairing depends on whether the two parties love each other. Producer Xiao An said that the song was created in the style of Chill R B. In the arrangement, several audio tracks were first recorded with an electric guitar, and the effect was processed to greatly change the listening impression of the electric guitar. Then, the needed chords were cut out to form a main tone with an illusory romantic atmosphere. Then, rhythm, Bass, piano and guitar were stacked in order with this as the main axis, deliberately not arranging too strong tones or melodies, allowing Vocal to dominate the emotional expression of the entire song.

The visual design of the new album also invited Shira Barzila, an internationally renowned fashion illustrator from Israel, to collaborate across borders, because there are artists who shine like stars in different fields, and working with them can more comprehensively express this album's star concept! Shira studied fashion design, worked as a graphic designer after graduation, and also ran its own brand KOKETI. In French, the word means fashionable girls and echoes the song "Girls" on this album. This time, Shira was very happy to receive an invitation from the album creative director to design illustrations for Rainie Yang's new album! This is her first time working with an Asian artist. She is looking forward to seeing the finished product and is very grateful for this opportunity to work with outstanding Asian artists.

Rainie's music works in the first 10 years of her debut were classified as an idol artist by the market, and her sweet and childish baby face was known as the "Lovely Cult Master". However, in the following 10 years, she worked hard to transform into a powerful singer. For the 20th anniversary, Rainie did a lot of things she had never thought of and wanted to create surprises for everyone.
