With the official implementation of the Notice on the Management of Mobile Game Publishing Services (hereinafter referred to as the Notice) on July 1, domestic mobile game products began to enter the regulatory state of pre-approval. The Notice stipulates that new games launched on Android and iOS after July 1 must first fill in the version number. Games that have already been listed need to be reissued by October 1.

With

the popularity of smart phones, the mobile game industry is booming. It is understood that since 2009, a total of 69,000 games have been legally registered, 90% of which have not applied for a version number.

The Regulations require that mobile Internet application providers and Internet application store service providers shall not use applications to engage in activities prohibited by laws and regulations such as endangering national security, disrupting social order, infringing upon the legitimate rights and interests of others, and shall not use applications to produce, copy, publish or disseminate information content prohibited by laws and regulations.

In addition, the Regulations propose that mobile Internet application providers should strictly implement information security management responsibilities and fulfill "six obligations" according to law: first, according to the principle of "real name in the background and voluntary in the foreground", authenticate the true identity information of registered users; second, establish and improve the user information security protection mechanism; Third, establish and improve the information content review and management mechanism, and take warning, restriction function, suspension of update, closure of account and other disposal measures as appropriate for the release of illegal and illegal information content; Fourth, protect users 'right to know and choose according to law; Fifth, respect and protect intellectual property rights, and shall not make or publish application programs infringing upon intellectual property rights of others; Sixth, record user log information and keep it for 60 days.

Listed companies are not affected

Wang Jialun believes that after the implementation of the new regulations, human developers will not escape the fate of disappearance.
