The crew of the hit TV series "Three Lives of Ten Miles Peach Blossom" used the arias recording by Shan Wen, a well-known young actor from the Kunqu Theater of Jiangsu Province without authorization. In less than 10 hours, the Weibo post had more than 10,000 retweets, comments and likes.

On March 2, Weibo netizen "Xie Banxian" broke the news that the crew of the hit TV series "Sansheng III Ten Miles Peach Blossom" used the arias of Shan Wen, a well-known young actor of the Kunqu Opera Theater in Jiangsu Province without authorization. In less than 10 hours, the Weibo post had more than 10,000 retweets, comments and likes.

The reporter looked through the Weibo account of "Xie Banxian" and found that the blogger's Weibo identity was the chairman of Jixian Hongyi Cultural Center. He wrote on his Weibo account,"I remember that seven or eight years ago, there was a Hong Kong company filming a movie that needed a piece of folk art. I recommended an aria by a certain single-string performing artist. It only took more than ten seconds, and finally gave the old man four to five thousand yuan. The money was not much, at least it was a show of respect! "Three Lives of Ten Miles Peach Blossom" does not even say hello, let alone authorization, it must be solved through legal channels! Don't take the opera world seriously."

In order to facilitate netizens to find evidence,"Xie Banxian" also specially gave a time segment of the infringement. The 57 and 58 episodes of the play each have a period of infringement lasting more than one minute. At that time, the protagonist in the play was eating in a place similar to a restaurant. On the stage on the first floor, the Kunqu opera "The Peony Pavilion" was performed, and the singing voice in the play was a selection of "The Peony Pavilion" sung by Shan Wen.

In this regard, Li Hongliang, director of the Provincial Kunqu Opera Theater, said,"This reflects lack of respect for our opera. It can be said with certainty that the provincial Kunqu government did not give any authorization to the crew." He believes that this is not a matter of money, but an indifference to the rule of law and a violation of intellectual property rights. He said,"I often go to Japan, Singapore and other regions to perform. Whether the other party uses my videos or audio, they will obtain my own permission in advance and have a strong sense of copyright." Shan Wen is currently busy performing and said she will respond after understanding the relevant situation clearly.
