Disney will ban smoking scenes in all PG-13 films unless the characters in the film have historically recognized smoking habits.
Bob Iger, CEO of Walt Disney, recently announced the strongest "smoking ban", saying that unless necessary by historical facts, smoking scenes will be banned in all Disney (including Marvel) films at the PG-13 level and below.

During a shareholder conference call on Thursday local time, Iger announced the statement that the "smoking ban" would cover all Disney films with PG-13 and below, unless the characters in the film have historically recognized smoking habits, such as former President Lincoln.
In addition, Iger responded to the Motion Picture Association of America's reform of R-rated film ratings,"We don't want to be involved in the formulation of the Motion Picture Association's policy, and we don't want our actions to affect other film companies."
PG -13: The film may contain content that is not suitable for children under the age of 13, such as non-serious violence, nudity, sexiness, foul language, etc., which requires parents 'attention.
