State Administration manages harmful content of online videos and extramarital affairs will be deleted

The notice not only stipulates that content such as extramarital affairs, polysexual love and pornography must be deleted, but also manages content such as violence, bloodshed and murder. Many online dramas will also be implicated and rectified.

Different from the content broadcast by TV stations, online video content has always been known for its large-scale scale. Recently, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television issued the "Notice of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television on Strengthening the Management of Internet Audiovisual Program Content" to manage the "large-scale" of online audio-visual content.

The notice not only stipulates that content such as extramarital affairs, polysexual love and pornography must be deleted, but also manages content such as violence, bloodshed and murder. Many online dramas will also be implicated and rectified.

Content promoting extramarital affairs and polysexual love will be deleted

. Aiming at the large-scale of online audio-visual programs, all online audio-visual programs that promote third parties, extramarital affairs, one-night stands, even sexual hints, pornography and other content must be cut and deleted in a timely manner.

The clause specifically states that promoting unhealthy content such as extramarital affairs, polysexual love, one-night stands, sexual abuse and wife swapping; content that is prone to sexual associations such as sexual hints and sexual teasing; and details such as promiscuity, rape, incest, necropsies, prostitution, whoring, sexual perversion, masturbation, etc., as well as details that express or obscure sexual behavior, sexual process, sexual methods and excessive physical contact associated with it, must be deleted.

Not only that, those that use adult movies, erotic movies, third-level films, candid shots, revealing spots and various provocative words or pictures as the titles or categories of video programs will also be censored and rectified.

Bloody and violent plots need to be rectified

In addition to extramarital affairs, pornography and other content, the notice also stipulates that online audio-visual content with strongly stimulating plots such as murder, bloody, violence, suicide, kidnapping, drug abuse, gambling, and paranormal events also needs to be deleted. If there are excessively scary pictures, subtitles, background music and sound effects in online audio-visual programs, they also need to be rectified and deleted.

The cruelty and killing of animals shown in online videos, or content containing the killing and consumption of nationally protected animals, must also be cut and deleted.

In addition, programs such as online music video MV, variety shows, film and television short dramas, animation and other categories, as well as themes such as "selfies","hot dances","beautiful women","funny","original", and "filming" must be controlled with emphasis to ensure that the content of the broadcast program does not violate the provisions in the notice.
