The film has a time span of 32 years, and all kinds of scenes and props in the film need to be restored with a sense of time. In order to restore the truth to the greatest extent, the crew transformed the shooting site, built the flag raising platform, auditorium, gallery, wharf, etc. in the real scene, carefully carved the props to create a realistic environmental effect as much as possible, providing good conditions for the use of lens language and the detailed portrayal of characters. The post production makes full use of special effects and other technical means to truly reproduce the island guarding life of Wang Jicai and Wang Shihua in the harsh environment such as typhoon, rainstorm and huge waves, giving people a strong impact, shock and appeal
