The news pointed out that on February 4, according to reports from the masses, the Beijing City Cyberspace Administration, the Municipal Public Security Bureau, and the Municipal Cultural Market Administrative Law Enforcement Corps went to Pear Video to conduct joint law enforcement inspections.

After investigation, Pear Video operated by Beijing Weiran Network Technology Co., Ltd. released a large number of so-called "exclusive" current political audio-visual news information by opening original columns, editing videos by themselves, and collecting content uploaded by users without obtaining Internet news information service qualifications or Internet audio-visual program service qualifications. According to relevant laws and regulations such as the "Regulations on the Management of Internet News Information Services" and the "Regulations on the Management of Internet Audiovisual Program Services", the above-mentioned behavior of the website is an unauthorized engagement in Internet news information services and Internet audio-visual program services and the circumstances are serious.

In response, the Beijing City Cyberspace Administration, the Municipal Public Security Bureau, and the Municipal Cultural Market Administrative Law Enforcement Corps ordered Pear Video to immediately stop illegal activities and conduct comprehensive rectification.
