noon on May 22, Beijing time, the new single "Rain on Me" collaborated by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande was officially released globally. The single will be included in Lady Gaga's sixth studio album "Chromatica" released on May 29. The new album will also include songs by Gaga and artists such as South Korean pop girl groups BLACKPINK and Ty Dolla $ign.

In a recent interview, Gaga admitted that this album is her "starting point for self-healing journey" and hopes to use this album to inspire people like her who have struggled in difficult situations and help them learn to accept themselves. During the interview, she also talked about the interesting things she had during her collaboration with Sister A on "Rain on Me". While Sister A was recording, Gaga said to her,"I hope you can put all the concerns about whether singing is perfect and just sing. When you sing, I will dance in front of you. She said no at first, but finally compromised. So she started singing and I started dancing, and her voice was so unique. This is the fun of working together between two artists. We will try our best to make each other feel comfortable."

It is reported that "Chromatica" was originally scheduled to be released on April 10, but Gaga decided to postpone it due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic and focus on holding the "One World: Together At Home" public welfare concert in cooperation with the World Health Organization and global artists. Now, Gaga can't wait to celebrate the release of the new album with her fans. (Beijing News reporter: Tian Xini)
