On February 6, the nomination list for the 42nd Hong Kong Film Awards was announced. Tony Leung was nominated for Best Actor again after 10 years, and Dapeng was also shortlisted for "the eighth suspect."

It is reported that the shortlist for best actor includes Tony Leung Chao-Wei's "Goldfinger", Lin Baoyi's "under the Day", Lu Zhenye's "Young Diary", Huang Zihua's "poisonous tongue lawyer" and Dapeng's "eighth suspect".
