In order to give full play to the demonstration and guiding effect of quarterly promotion of excellent documentaries, the Propaganda Department of the State Administration of China recently organized responsible comrades, experts and scholars of relevant radio and television agencies to conduct a review, and selected 40 excellent domestic documentaries from the 131 documentaries selected and sent across the country. On March 22, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television issued a relevant notice, announcing the list of 40 outstanding domestic documentaries shortlisted this time.

According to the "Notice of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television on the Recommended and Broadcast of Excellent Domestic Documentaries in 2015"(Xin Guangdian Fa [2015] No. 1), in order to give full play to the demonstration and guiding effect of quarterly promotion of excellent documentaries, the Propaganda Department of the State Administration recently organized responsible comrades of relevant radio and television institutions, experts and scholars conducted a review and selected 40 excellent domestic documentaries from the 131 documentaries selected and sent across the country. Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television bureaus of all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government, Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television Bureau of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, CCTV, Central New Film Group, China Agricultural Film and Television Center, China Education Television, Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission:

In accordance with the "Notice of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television on Recommended and Broadcasting of Excellent Domestic Documentaries in 2015"(XRF [2015] No. 1), in order to give full play to the demonstration and guiding effect of quarterly promotion of excellent documentaries, the Propaganda Department of the State Administration recently organized responsible comrades of relevant radio and television agencies, experts and scholars to conduct a review, and selected 40 excellent domestic documentaries from the 131 documentaries selected nationwide.

All satellite TV channels across the country, documentary columns of TV stations at all levels, professional documentary channels, and professional science and education channels must proactively select and broadcast excellent domestic documentaries recommended by the State Administration. The broadcast of recommended documentaries by relevant columns and institutions will be included in the annual support project selection and assessment system as an important indicator.

The copyright information of the promotion films can be inquired in the announcement area of the government website of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (http://www.chinasarft.gov.cn), as well as on the China Documentary Network (http://www.docuchina.cn) and the "Record China" APP mobile platform. Excellent domestic documentaries selected and determined by the State Administration of China are shown and broadcast to the public through the China Documentary Network and the "Record China" APP mobile platform.
