Beijing Huairou sets up 30 million yuan subsidy to attract film and television cultural projects

Huairou District held a publicity and interpretation meeting on the outline of the "13th Five-Year Plan" and officially released the "Huairou District Special Fund Support Policy for Promoting Regional Economic Transformation and Development." Huairou will set up subsidy funds of up to 30 million yuan in the future to attract major film and television cultural projects.

Yesterday morning, Huairou District held a publicity and interpretation meeting on the outline of the 13th Five-Year Plan, and officially released the "Huairou District Special Fund Support Policy for Promoting Regional Economic Transformation and Development." The policy states that Huairou will set up subsidy funds of up to 30 million yuan in the future to attract major film and television cultural projects.

According to Lu Xiaoguo, the Cultural Promotion Center of Huairou District, the China (Huairou) Film and Television Industry Demonstration Zone, as a national-level film and television industry demonstration zone, issued a special funding policy this time, mainly adopting three subsidy methods: incubation and entrepreneurship, revitalizing resources, and major projects. Financial support is provided to leading projects and enterprises in the core links of investment production, post-production, transaction and distribution, theater headquarters in the industrial chain, as well as other identified key cultural and creative projects. For key projects in the film and television industry and cultural innovation that are in line with the development direction of the film and television demonstration zone and have a total investment of not less than 100 million yuan, the "one discussion on one issue" approach can be adopted to implement subsidies for major projects. Subsidies of no more than 30% of the total investment will be granted according to different stages of foundation laying, completion, equipment filling and operation, with a maximum of no more than 30 million yuan.

In addition, Zhou Wei, director of the Tourism Commission of Huairou District, introduced that special support funds to promote the development of the tourism industry include two forms: subsidies and rewards. Subsidies mainly subsidize investment in leisure, entertainment and vacation projects and investment in new tourism projects; rewards focus on building high-quality brands, and reward large-scale tourism enterprises for settling down, developing tourism products, upgrading tourist attractions to meet standards, and upgrading rural tourism. It is reported that for tourist attractions above 3A (inclusive) and with an investment of no less than 50 million yuan (inclusive), subsidy support of no more than 10% of the total project investment and no more than 6 million yuan will be provided.
