Xie Fang, a famous film performing artist and actress in the classic film "Song of Youth", passed away peacefully at Beijing Anzhen Hospital at 2:14 a.m. on December 19. She was 89 years old. On the 3rd of this month, Xie Fang suddenly suffered a myocardial infarction and was hospitalized. She passed away after more than ten days of active treatment. Xie Fang is one of the "22nd Top Movie Stars" of New China. She has starred in more than 50 film and television dramas such as "Sisters on the Stage","February of Early Spring","Mountain Flowers","Second Handshake" and "Princess Wencheng". In 2016, Xie Fang won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 33rd Popular Film Hundred Flowers Awards.
