On June 15, the "Perceiving China" series of activities hosted by the State Council Information Office entered Rome, Italy for the first time. As the two highlights of this "Perceiving China" trip to Italy, the "Guohua Nine Rhymes" Chinese Cultural Collection Performance and the China-Italy Children's Choral Concert won unanimous cheers from the local audience.

On the evening of the 15th, the "Nine Rhymes of Guohua" Chinese Culture Exhibition was staged at the Antoniam Concert Hall in Rome, kicking off the "Perceiving China" Italian series of activities. In his opening speech, Zhuang Rongwen, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee and director of the State Press and Publication Administration, expressed his expectation to further enhance the understanding and friendship between China and Italy through this event. Zhuang Rongwen said: "The Italian people's interest in China culture is increasing day by day, and China customs and Chinese craze continue to heat up in Italy. The opening ceremony performance "Nine Rhymes of Guohua" was unique, combining nine traditional culture and art with typical China cultural symbols, including dance, folk music, opera, tea tasting, flower arrangement, and Tai Chi. Artists such as China violinist Lu Siqing, dancer Chen Ailian, and China idol instrumental music group Women's Crystal Music Workshop were also invited to allow the audience to experience nine traditional China arts at one time in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, and fully feel the charm of Chinese culture. Yan Nongqi, former Italian ambassador to China, was amazed at this elegant and elegant performance.
