The 3rd Chopin International Youth Piano Open pays tribute to artistic classics

The

2018 3rd Chopin International Youth Piano (China Amateur Group) Open Anhui Lu 'an Division and the United States and Russia International Youth Music and Art Festival are co-sponsored by the China Youth Culture and Art Exchange Association, the Chinese Piano Society, and the Anhui Province Piano Association. Co-organized by the International Chopin Art Association and the Polish-Chinese Culture and Art Exchange Association, and organized by the Organizing Committee of Hai Zhiyin Piano Store and the Chopin International Youth Piano (China Amateur Group) Open. It has received joint support from the Central Conservatory of Music, China Conservatory of Music, and the School of Music of the Central University for Nationalities.

There are two main forms of performance in the competition: "solo" and "four-hand joint play": in terms of competition groups, the solo form is divided into children's group, children's group A, children's group B, juvenile group A, juvenile group B, and youth group. The four-hand joint play includes children's group, juvenile group and youth group; the repertoire is performed with a China or foreign work, and all the music is required to be memorized when performing. The judges will give bonus points and encouragement to those who can choose Chopin's compositions (including etudes). All works are performed within three minutes; In terms of scoring standards, the tone is accurate, the rhythm is accurate, the rhythm is not wrong, the basic skills are solid, there is no pause during the performance process, the ability to be complete and smooth, the understanding of the work and the style are accurate, and the thoughts and feelings of the work can be fully expressed as the evaluation criteria.

This competition adheres to the principles of fairness, justice and openness. When competing in each local constituency, the number of judges is more than 3, and the judges have professional titles of the second level or vice-high level. The number of judges in each venue of the National Finals is not less than 5. The judges must have national first-level or senior professional titles. The competition adopts the method of independent scoring and signing by the judges on site. Once the scoring sheet is handed over, the judges have no right to change it. The number of judges will be singular and calculated based on the average score, with the maximum score being 10 points. The lowest score is 8 points. It is reported that the competition brought together Zheng Xiulan, professor and educator of the Piano Department of the China Conservatory of Music, Guo Yifang, associate professor of the Piano Department of the Central Conservatory of Music, Wang Han, doctor of piano education, Russian piano player Wang victoria, and Chen Yan, who graduated from the University of Toledo with a master's degree in music performance., Russian pianist and representative of the Moscow Chopin Society in China Anton Malikov, Royal College of Music ABRSM piano performer Zheng Wenguang, Russian pianist professor Demchenkov Igor, Graduated from China Conservatory of Music and Würzburg University of Music in Germany with a master's degree. Young piano educator Gao Xinyan, young Russian pianist Svetlana Voronova, young pianist Yin Li, young piano performer Bai Jie, Italian musician Enrico Rossetto and other more than 20 judges form a star jury lineup to score the competition groups and works on site. Competitors with outstanding results will go to the United States and Russia to participate in the International Youth Music and Art Festival concerts.
